The Gate Lab community rules are set
out to help maintain a fun and productive environment for all its members.
Use of the Gate Lab project and site is subject to these rules and our
terms of use.
Expectations
These are general expectations for
the Gate Lab community.
* Keep your feedback constructive. Feedback or comments that are abusive, derogatory with no constructive
feedback are likely to be removed.
* No flaming or
spamming. The Gate Lab site wants to encourage all its users
to help other users of the site’s projects grow.
* Respect copyright and
confidentiality. The Gate Lab site holds a great deal of confidential
information and programme ideas and we expect that all members shall
keep the ideas, proposals, scripts and content confidential.
Rules
of Conduct
While using the Gate Lab site, you
agree not to:
* Restrict or inhibit any
other visitor or member from using the Gate Lab site;
* Post or communicate any
of visitor or member's real world information (name, address, account
name, etc.) through the Gate Lab site;
* Transmit any content or
information that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing,
defamatory, libelous, vulgar, obscene, hateful, fraudulent or otherwise
objectionable content, or infringes on our or any third party's intellectual
property or other rights;
* Transmit any information,
software, or other material that contains a virus, worm, time bomb or
other harmful or disruptive component;
* Post or transmit chain letters
or pyramid marketing schemes;
* Post or transmit unsolicited
advertising, promotional materials, or other forms of solicitation;
* Modify, adapt, sublicense,
translate, sell, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any portion
of the Gate Lab site, or the software, or modify any materials downloaded
from the Gate Lab site;
* Modify, copy, or tamper
with any treatment, proposal or screenplay or any other content that
you may access through the Gate Lab site, or use any content that you
might access through the Gate Lab site for any reason other than reading
or reviewing such screenplay or content;
* Collect, harvest or disclose
information about other Gate Lab site members without their consent;
* Do any act which interferes
with or slows the operation of the Gate Lab site;
* Use any application or other
device or process to retrieve, index or reproduce or circumvent the
navigational structure or presentation of the Gate Lab site or its contents;
or
* Use the Gate Lab site for
any unlawful purpose.
Penalties
If you do not follow the rules and
expectations, then we reserve the right to issue warnings and take action
against your account. Should the Gate Lab team feel that you have
not complied with the rules, we may take the following action:
* You will be given a warning
via email.
* If we have to warn you more
than three times, a ban will be placed on your account and you may be
permanently removed from the project.
We reserve the right to accelerate
or amend this process at our discretion. The Gate Lab team will be
the sole arbiters of this process.
